Is the first lesson really free?
Yes. Your first lesson is a full 90 minutes and it is free. There is no obligation to continue.
Do I need to pay or enter a credit card to book?
No. Complete the free-lesson form. Ann will contact you directly to schedule.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes. Many students begin with very little English. Ann adapts every lesson to your level and explains each step clearly.
What do we do in lessons?
You practice speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, or grammar according to your goals. Lessons are one-on-one and personalized.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are online by Zoom. You can join from anywhere with a phone or computer and a reliable internet connection.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No. After the free lesson, lessons are pay-as-you-go. There is no subscription or required lesson package.
How much are lessons after the free lesson?
Lessons are $35 per hour. You choose how often you would like to meet.
Can you help with U.S. citizenship interview English?
Yes. Ann helps you practice civics vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing for the naturalization interview. She does not provide legal advice.
Can you help with English for work?
Yes. Lessons can focus on interviews, meetings, presentations, networking, emails, reports, pronunciation, and workplace conversation.
Do you give homework?
Ann gives homework to supplement the lessons. The goal is steady progress without pressure.
How quickly will Ann reply?
Ann normally replies within 24 hours to discuss your goal and find a lesson time.
Will lessons remove my accent?
The goal is clear, comfortable communication—not erasing your identity. Pronunciation practice focuses on helping people understand you more easily.
