Website and Lesson Terms

These terms describe the general use of this website and Ann O'Connor's English tutoring services.

Free lesson

The first lesson is offered free for 90 minutes, limited to one free lesson per person. No payment information or commitment is required. Scheduling depends on mutual availability.

Who may arrange lessons

Adults may request lessons for themselves. A parent or legal guardian must submit the website form and make all arrangements for a learner under 18. A child under 13 may not submit the form.

Paid lessons

If you choose to continue, the current rate is $35 per hour, pay-as-you-go. There is no subscription or long-term contract. Payment timing, scheduling, and any cancellation arrangements are confirmed directly with Ann.

Scheduling, cancellations, and refunds

Lesson times are confirmed directly with Ann. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact Ann as soon as possible. Any late-cancellation or missed-lesson policy will be disclosed and agreed before a paid lesson is scheduled or payment is taken.

Because lessons are pay-as-you-go, there are no unused packages. Any prepaid lesson that Ann cannot provide will be rescheduled or refunded. A completed lesson is non-refundable except where required by law.

Educational service

Lessons provide English-language education and practice. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, starting level, and practice between lessons. Specific educational, employment, examination, immigration, or other outcomes are not guaranteed.

Citizenship practice

Citizenship lessons provide English and interview-communication practice only. Ann is not an attorney and does not provide immigration or legal advice.

Website content

Website information is provided for general informational purposes. Easy English at Home may correct or update content, availability, and rates. A change does not alter a specific arrangement already confirmed directly with a student.
