This policy explains what information Easy English at Home receives when you use this website or request a lesson. Easy English at Home is operated by Ann O'Connor in Cumberland, Maryland, USA.
Information you choose to send
The free-lesson form asks for your name, email address, learning goal, current English level, country or time zone, whether you are an adult learner or a parent or legal guardian arranging a lesson for a minor, and acknowledgement of the free-lesson and continuing-rate terms. You may also provide preferred days and times and an optional message. You may contact Ann by email or telephone instead.
Technical and campaign information
When you request a lesson, the form may include the page where your visit began, the page containing the form, the referring website, and campaign identifiers such as UTM values, GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID. These values help Ann understand which outreach led to genuine student inquiries. The site stores this limited attribution information temporarily in your browser's session storage so it can follow your visit from a landing page to the request form.
The website host and form provider may also process information such as IP address, browser or device information, request time, and security signals needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors. Easy English at Home does not currently place Google Analytics or advertising tags in the website code. This policy will be updated before those services are activated.
How the information is used
Ann uses this information to answer your question, schedule a free lesson, understand your learning needs and availability, assess the quality of outreach and advertising, prevent abuse of the free offer, and provide tutoring services if you choose to continue.
Form and hosting services
The form uses FormSubmit to deliver your message by email. FormSubmit states that it retains an archive of submissions for 30 days; see its documentation. The website host, FormSubmit, Ann's email provider, and—if you schedule a lesson—Zoom may process information needed to provide their services. Their own privacy practices also apply, and processing may occur in countries outside your own.
Sharing and selling
Easy English at Home does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the website and deliver your message, or when required by law.
Retention and security
Session-storage attribution normally ends when your browser session or tab is closed, subject to your browser's behavior. FormSubmit's stated archive period is 30 days. Ann may keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless the person becomes a student or a longer period is reasonably needed for accounting, legal, dispute, or ordinary business-record purposes. Information is then deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not enter passport numbers, immigration registration numbers, financial information, medical information, or other highly sensitive information in the form.
Children and guardians
The website form is intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian must submit the form and arrange any lesson for a learner under 18. A child under 13 may not submit the form.
Your choices
You may contact Ann to ask what information she holds about you, or to request correction or deletion, subject to records that must be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes. You can prevent or clear session storage through your browser settings.
Policy changes
If these practices materially change, this page and its “Last updated” date will be revised before the new practice begins when reasonably possible.
